No class October 7th

Join Nancy Saylor this fall on a journey of personal discovery and exploration through dance, proprioceptive writing, and FUN!  All kinds of movers are welcome: seasoned dancers looking for a place to expand their dancer minds and bodies; those who feel like they “missed out” on taking dance classes when they were kids and are wistfully wondering if it’s just too late (it’s not!); even folks who are simply looking for a place to find more range of motion and expression in their physical bodies—there’s a place for everyone in Dance Discovery!

Register for this class by contacting Mauri Connors at halestonedirector@gmail.com or (540) 463-7444 – $115 for the entire 8-week work-shop – Halestone is committed to offering dance education to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. Contact us if you need assistance.

YOGA: Easing Into Yoga and Gentle Yoga ~ taught by Susan Evans

**Interested students should contact the instructor directly, as registration for these classes is handled independently by the instructor**

Mondays, 9:00 to 10:15:  Easing Into Yoga
This is a great class for those with limited mobility or knee and hip replacements. We begin in a chair for breath work and warm ups,  move to standing poses that focus on strength and balance and then to the floor or back to a chair for stretches and relaxation.
Thursdays, 9:00 to 10:15: Gentle Yoga
This is a more traditional yoga class, but very gentle with many modifications offered.  Perfect for beginners, but challenges are offered for those who want to take their practice deeper.  Focus is on building strength, balance, flexibility and relaxation.
Cost:
$95.00 for a 10 class pass; May be used by other family members, out of town quests, or for a friend new to yoga (one time only, please)
$15.00 drop-in.
