2021 Halestone Dance Studio Fall Concert: RETHIKING

Halestone Dance Studio is excited to announce our fall concert, RETHINKING. Come join us on November 20th at 3:00 in the afternoon for an outdoor performance. With original choreography and direction by Interim Artistic Director Molly Smith and Teaching Artists Evelyn Warren, Arden Courtney Collins, Alexis Henk, Emilie Adams, Zach Baldridge, Ashley Shugart and Stephanie Hodde. In collaboration with our students and Company ensembles.
During this unpredictable time in life, one must rethink. We have had to reconfigure and reimagine many aspects of our lives. RETHINKING is a show that Halestone has been working on during the fall season of 2021. As a studio we have had to reassess numerous operations. Collectively our community has reworked the way we interact, communicate and move together.
In the past, performances have been held indoors. However, as we continue to practice safety guidelines we have had to rethink our performances. This is an outdoor, masked and socially distanced event. Attendees (including all children older than 3 years old) are asked to wear a mask and bring a blanket or chair to sit on. Audience members will be asked to spread out and sit 6 feet from those not in their party or family. Please consider this time of year and layer up on clothing to enjoy the show!
2020 Fall Concert, Present Expressions
RETHINKING also kicks off Halestone’s Annual Fund campaign. While Halestone is alive and well, we have been and continue to be greatly impacted by the current global pandemic and how that affects our operations. Our overall operating budget hasn’t shrunk during these times, however our revenue streams have been affected. Halestone needs your support to weather the current situation and exist for years to come to provide equitable, nurturing, creative, collaborative and expansive dance education. Please visit our website to learn more about our aspirational strategic plan, adopted in early 2020, and consider donating to Halestone today to support the arts in our community.
Purchase your tickets here. Tickets will be sold at the event but please try and purchase your tickets ahead of time.
