Summer Camp

**COVID-19 Update**We have changed our camp plans to comply with Virginia Phase 2 reopening guidelines and best practices to keep campers safe. Please read carefully as details have changed. Halestone offers summer camps for children ages 4-11 and a Summer Dance Intensive for middle school, high school and adult dancers with some prior experience.

Summer Camp 2020 Options

July 6th – 10th: Storytelling & Magic (ages 4-7)

We will be meeting OUTSIDE the studio space in the grass under shade tents for a fun craft and related dance technique exercises, activities and games. Students will stay socially distanced. Elizabeth Becker will lead all activities and a board member volunteer will be present for additional supervision since we will be outdoors. Update: with new Phase 2 guidelines we may also utilize the indoor studio space, and will use creative props to keep students distanced.

10:00 am – 12:00 pm                  Tuition: $115/week or $25/day

Because we will be outside and socially distanced we will accept a maximum of 6 campers. Students can register for the week or per day, however need to be registered ahead of time. We cannot accept drop-ins the week of camp. Registrations for the entire week will be prioritized if we reach maximum enrollment.

July 13th – 17th: Dance and Science (ages 5-11)

Laura Dueker will lead all activities and a board member volunteer will be present for additional supervision since we will be outdoors. Update: with new Phase 2 guidelines we may also utilize the indoor studio space, and will use creative props to keep students distanced.

Halestone Dance Studio is handicap accessible, with a cement ramp to the door and a wheel-chair accessible bathroom.
